Originally from the Mid-Atlantic region, Eileen Wallach now lives and practices her art in Tennessee. Eileen holds a B.S. in Physical Education, Health and Recreation from University of Tampa in Florida. After 20 years of pursuing positions within her formal field of study, she decided to fulfill an artistic career in acrylic painting on canvas, and has been a practicing professional artist since 1999.

Eileen’s creative drive: “I am motivated by the healing powers my art brings into others’ lives, and the power and energy my paintings can create in the healing process.”

Key emotion represented in her work: “Themes in my work are energy, power, softness, hardness, sexiness and thoughtfulness. I strive to create healing to those who step into the energy of my paintings.”

Thoughts on process: I work on unstretched canvas, which I continue to rotate as I create my lines that are completed using no patterns or layout. I use only a number 3 round brush and can never really change the size of the dots.”

Personal relationship to her work: “My art is a form of meditation for me. It allows me to be quiet and enables my healing powers to come forth and create, knowing someone needs my power to help them heal.”

Thoughts on sharing art: “When I share my art, I am helping someone connect to emotions or feelings. This is an ongoing process that creates a circle of sharing as the viewer then passes on the beauty that they’ve received.”
